The Loose Salute 'Happy I Don't Count' by Graveface Records
Had a go at doing a couple shoot. The beautiful young couple, Irish and Chris, were happy to put their hands up for the shoot, so I grabbed my gear and voilĂ !

Gypsy! Give me your tears!
Gilgamesh by Suhma
After climbing "Mt. Let's See How Good Your Knees Are", I had planned on catching up with an old friend, Kate, that night after she offered me a spare ten buck ticket to see Gypsy and the Cat! Before heading to the gig, I really questioned whether or not I could even last standing through the whole thing, but then I threw down a six-pack of Johnny cans and was all sweet. From then it was all up hill - not down hill; down hill fucking sucks.

Mt. Barney
The Go! Team - Yosemite Theme by thegoteam
I need to learn not to get on the piss the night before i have to put my body through some sort of physical endurance. Last year i did the Gold Coast marathon but went out the night before for a mates birthday, "accidentally" drank too much alcohol and stayed out pass my bed time. Well i did it again, good mate Mal asked me to climb Mt. Barney which is somewhere out South West of Beaudesert. So practically i went out the night before to watch the Reds (Rugby Union) play at Suncorp as roomy Kurt had free Corporate seating tickets. Couldn't say no to that, so we watched the game and continued drinking through the night. Though i did manage to control myself kinda on the alcohol consumption. Up at the crack of dawn i headed to Mt. Barney, I didn't feel that bad until during the hour or so drive there but when we started climbing up the bastard, the first hour sucked balls, i was sweating like a pig and struggling. An odd 5 hours later we got up there, it was a rewarding with all the views and the serenity. I was glad all the gruelling part was over, or was it… Descending that mountain sucked derilick balls! It sure tested how strong my knees are. Wheres Sam from Lord of the Rings to carry me down when you need him?

Mumma Nature has seriously got her rags!
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross - Immigrant Song (feat. Karen O) (Led Zeppelin Cover) by daftdreamy
Its the start of winter and we're still getting these storms? I Finished work one arvo and mother nature thought she'd give us a show on my drive home. I had never done any attempt at lightning photog, so once i got home, grabbed the camera, my tripod, walked down the beach and tried my luck at getting some light! I was probably there for about 40 mins, standing there in the sand right next to my metal looking tripod....ahhh dodddgyyy?... Its a bit of a luck game, lightning would strike in the opposite direction my lens was facing. Id swing it around and then it would strike where i had it previously. Then when i did have it the right direction, my shutter would close after a so many second exposure and would need to buffer, within that buffer time the light would strike...DAMMIT! I told myself one more shot and id pack up for the night, this is the shot.
