Happy Halloween!

My roomies and I went to a Halloween house party down the road Saturday night, once the cops came and closed down the party we rode back home to find that our house had been egg'd and the culprits did a good job getting the front door, windows, stairs, hammock and cars. We were pretty pissed off about it and we really wanted to find whom the person/people were. We sussed out the houses around ours and they weren't targets so it would've been someone we knew. One of my Roomies, Kurt who loves watching detective shows (Watch "The Killing", its awesome) looked deeper in the "case". He peered into our garbage bin and found some hard evidence. The idiot left the carton of eggs and the receipt, which prints out where they were bought, time and credit details. The cartons of eggs were bought only down the road at the servo about an hour before we arrived home. So the guys rode down to the servo and enquired about the person who had bought the carton of eggs. The dude behind the counter described a short girl with blonde shortish hair. We also tried to get video footage but the dude didn't know how to use the device and said to come back the next day.

We haven’t returned back to the servo yet, but we do know of a person that fits that description. To be continued...

I thought this would take me at least two hours to do but shit aye, took me the whole day! I really need to brush up my skills on the pen tool in Illustrator. Also learn not to hate Illustrator. That program does nothing but frustrate me.

Mini Rhowreel Revisited

I did this back when i was studying animation a few years ago. This is probably the most hardest ive ever worked on something cause of the short time frame i had to pull this outta my ass. Produced in 4 weeks because my mac shit itself thus meaning i lost all my current work. I had to tuffen up and start all over again, plus i had to learn After effects at the same time while producing this. Thank gosh im a fast learner when it comes to adobe programs. For some lame reason i cant find any of the working files of that "Reach out" animation, though if i did have possesion of the files i would give it the biggest overhaul.

Im back!

Well I’ve been completely off the radar with my blog since I got back from the Philippines. Returning back home with no job I’ve had to re-build my design folio so I can get a new job in design. Id like to get a position in some form of photography but their really isn’t much out there in the woods I’m in and its insanely stiff competition. So in the previous weeks I’ve blown the dust off my pen and started designing and animating again. In the next few weeks ill most likely be posting up new designs and some motion graphics cause I really miss working in After Effects. I’ll still be pulling out the camera wherever I go but I need to get a job! I’m over sitting at home designing; I just wanna be outside in the wilderness talking to people!
